I’ve walked this path too…
At the heart of my work is a simple yet powerful belief:
Your life is yours to design.
My coaching isn’t a formula or a fix. I believe we are all perfect as we are. No fixing required. Just the tools, reflections, and sacred space you need to clarify your values and design transitions with confidence and purpose. This is an unfolding. A conversation. A co-creation. It is adaptive, intuitive and entirely led by you.
There are no blueprints here, only sacred space, potent questions, and the kind of reflections that bring you home to yourself. Together we quiet the noise, reconnect with your deepest values and align your choices with who you truly are.
This is about becoming unapologetically you by recognizing who you are.
For over 20 years, I thrived on paper and survived in spirit. I built a successful career in the high-pressure world of corporate leadership, high-tech sales, and consulting. All the while single-handedly raising and supporting my two children.
It wasn’t easy, but it was possible.
And yet, despite the titles and income, I yearned for something more genuine. Something softer. Truer. Mine.
That hunger led me inward, into the wilderness of my thoughts and stories, to untangle old patterns and redesign a life rooted in gratitude, purpose, and deep alignment.
I’ve been privileged to walk alongside remarkable teachers on this path. Among them, Michael Neill, whose work introduced me to the Three Principles, a profound shift in how I understood the human experience. Working with Michael gave me the clearest and simplest insight I’ve ever had into our nature:
It’s just thought.
No, really!
The full list of teachers and thought leaders whose work and insights have touched my journey is long and still growing.
If you, like me are endlessly curious about human nature and how we are think about things and process life, here are a few voices worth exploring:
Byron Katie, Laurie Levin, Lynn McTaggart, Gabor Mate, Don Miquel Ruiz, Eckhart Tolle, Brene Brown and Dr. Joe Dispenza.
Each one, in their own way, has helped illuminate the path back to self-trust, coherence and the quiet wisdom within.
One pivotal moment stands out in my path to redesign my life. I had already taken bold steps towards change, walking away from what no longer fit, but I was still navigating without the clarity or confidence I craved.
Then I came across Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans.
The book didn’t fall off the shelf and land at my feet, as happens to some. Instead, I had already felt the spark that Life Design was the phrase, the path, the work I was meant to do. It felt true when I said it out loud. Life Design…
So being me, I did my research. I wanted to ensure I wasn’t stepping into someone else’s intellectual territory. I looked for programs, concepts, and philosophies that might conflict with that choice. And that’s when I discovered the Stanford-based and taught methodology by Bill and Dave. To my delight, not only was the term ‘Life Design’ available for me to use, but their approach deeply resonated with mine. They offered an ICF-certified coach certification that beautifully complemented my existing PCC certification, providing me with additional tools to serve my clients with greater clarity and intention.
To me, that felt like more than a coincidence - it felt like alignment. A quiet nudge from the Universe saying: YES, you’re on the right path.
That moment anchored something in me. I realized I could weave together the deep inner work I’d already been doing with the practical tools of life design and support others in creating meaningful, aligned lives.
Now, I call Malaga, Spain, home—a place where life is woven together with nature, celebrations, art, food, and spontaneous adventure.
I hike through small whitewashed Andalusian villages, swim in the Mediterranean, and walk the beaches with my ever-faithful companion, George, by my side. When I’m not traveling (click on Inspirations for reflections on walking the Camino de Santiago or hiking the Inca Trail in Peru), I’m usually seeking inspiration in nature, devouring books and courses exploring the endless depths of human behavior and potential, or cooking for a circle of beautiful friends who have become my chosen family in Malaga.
This life - spacious, intentional, filled with joy - wasn’t handed to me. It was designed, step by brave step. And, now I help others do the same: create lives that feel as good on the inside as they look on the outside.
Aligned, Embodied. Wildly their Own.
I believe that every one of us has the potential to create a life that feels deeply aligned and unmistakably our own.
Let’s work together to design a life that’s intentional, expansive, and joyfully, authentically yours.
With love and gratitude,
Richara
